Visit in wineries for degustation at north Chios 2 wineries available. Ιdeal to be combined with the nearby trail, 1,5-3 hours from the village Egrigoros to Kourounia Agiasmata thermal baths and bathing on arrival.
Costs 5 for degustation, 5 for the thermal bath per person. Thermal baths open in mid June closing end of October.

Hardy orchids observation in March April May whole day tours on the nature of Chios more than 100 species in flower during spring.

Chios City Inn (family hotel at the harbor of Chios)

Chios City Inn is a family guest house offering modern rooms with all modern amenities located at a central site of the habour of Chios Island.

Furnished with the highest quality of beds, mattresses and uppermatresses made by natural materials from the leading Greek company Cocomat.

Breakfast is based on local dairy products homemade marmelades & pure Greek materials.

The management is made by Nicos the owner and youngest member of the family a 33yrs old man who has been trained at the family business the last 20 years.

The father George is a naturalist specialized in hardy orchids, herbs & wild flowers qualified as mountain guide with 25 years of experience in groups with different interests from all over the world.

Volunteering and experiences programs all over year:

Waking on the trails of Chios distances from 2km to 8km for a daily tour 4-7 hours

Kampia ravine 2hours in the car up and down to Chios, 2hours walking, 1h stops and picknic, 1h visit in the village of Kampia, 1h swimming (summer & autumn) 1h nature observation.

Marons in Autumn, orchids in Spiring, Cheries in June.

Avgonima – Fa –Lithi afternoon walking in the forest roads and old stone built street since Othomans times 2,5h walking all down hill 3h before sunset, 1h swimming at the sandy beach of Lithi. 2h dinner (famous sea food of Lithi we strongly insist it)

Daily sailing tour to Oinousai 6-8 hours island incl. light lunch on board and swimming in virgin coasts. Cost per person 60€

The figs stories at Chios..! Distillation of figs (during Automn only the visitors will learn how we make spirit and alcoholic drink from figs with and whithought anice) combined with BBQ & salads and souma drinking 5hours combined with a visit at the historic medieval village of Agios Georgios and pastelaries ( dry figs in sesame loriet leaves and cinnamon) making by housewifes.

Cooking with a local traditional food chef in his cottage house or at Perleas mansion, additional cost 25€ perrson incl. dinner, drinks also available.

All activities cost

125€ per day plus petrol cost of the mountain guide’s car when you stay at Chio City Inn or 250€ if you are accommodated elsewhere

250-300€ for a minibus with a driver .

9,5€ for a picknic bag  for each participant incl. sandwich, bottle of water or energy drink fruit & sesame bar.
